While completing my degree in Germany, I returned home to the Bahamas to work at our family office. One of my first responsibilities? Rebranding our entire project — from building a website to designing our visual identity and launching our social media.
At the time, I had little experience in social media marketing, branding, or even website design? Well, design? That was all new territory. Still, I dove in. And somewhere between learning how to design a digital experience and sharing our story online, something clicked.
I realised how much joy I found in the creative process.
That joy turned into curiosity. Curiosity became passion. And that passion became Silkflow Studio — a space where I could help other Bahamian businesses show up with confidence and clarity online. We live in a country full of innovation, talent, and heart — and I believe it's time the world sees that. My goal is simple: to give Bahamian brands, whether just starting or already thriving, the digital presence they deserve.
